More about George!


A native of Utah, George Harvey Dabling began acting 19, while attending college.

Although he completed other careers, George returned to acting as his primary pursuit in 2007, first residing in the Las Vegas area. There he completed supporting roles in two independent feature films, both of which obtained stream-distribution.,  The most notable role was as FBI Agent Tom Hampton' in the Sean Jackson directed film, 'Bubblegum and Broken Fingers'. for which he obtained the 'Best Debut Performance Award'  at the 2011 Vegas Independent Film Festival.   He also portrayed the pivotable role of 'Terry' in the crime drama, 'One Step Behind', released to Amazon in 2015.  A third crime drama. 'Drury Lane', shot in Utah, has yet to be released. 


Dabling moved back to Los Angeles for his second time  in 2014. He has concentrated on pursuing work in TV and Film, while studying with acting-coaches  John Kirby, Ivana Chubbuck. and Christopher Holder. Other past acting coaches were Adam Hill, Michael Tylo, and Tom Logan in Las Vegas and Dominic DeFazio in L.A. He attended classes at the South Coast Repertory, the Lee Strasberg Institute, and was an apprentice at Actors Studio, West in 1977 and 1978.


George resides at his home in North Hollywood, and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.  He keeps busy with weekly volunteer work at the Motion Picture Television Fund Campus in Woodland Hills.  He keeps busy acting in student film projects at USC, UCLA, Chapman University, and others.

George is represented commercially and theatrically by Tracey Michaels of the Sovereign Talent Group of Los Angeles.
